1. Schedule Free Evaluation

Our friendly coaches will assess your
swimmer's current abilities in a relaxed, no-pressure setting to find the ideal training group based on skill level and goals. It's also a great opportunity for you to tour our facility, meet the team, and ask any questions you may have.

2. Experience a Trial Practice

Once a group is recommended, you
swimmer is invited to join a full week of free practices to try it out. This gives them the chance to meet their coaches and potential teammates while experiencing the supportive, positive environment that makes MAC such a special place to grow.

3. Join the MAC Family

After completing your evaluation and free trial, the final step is registering for the group your coach recommended. This officially makes you part of the MAC family-and from there, your swimmer can begin their journey of growth, confidence, and achievement in and out of the pool.

Minimum Requirements

To join our entry-level groups, swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted. If your child is unable to swim 25 yards unassisted, they will not be allowed to join MAC at this time.

"Growing up with MAC wasn't just about swimming; it was about becoming part of a legacy. The dedication of the coaches, the support from my teammates, and the pursuit of excellence every single day in the pool shaped me not only as an athlete but as a person. MAC provided the foundation and the belief that I could reach for the highest levels of the sport, and for that, I'll always be grateful. This club is truly special."

Build Their Potential. Unlock Their Drive.

You want more for your child than screen time and stress.
You want structure, confidence, healthy habits, and a team that truly sees them.
But here's the problem:
Most youth sports feel high-pressure, cliquey, or just plain boring.
And many swim programs leave kids feeling overwhelmed... or overlooked.
At Mesa Aquatics Club, we do things differently.
We help kids of all levels fall in love with swimming and become stronger, more confident individuals along the way.

Depending on group placement, there are no mandatory attendance requirements. We encourage all swimmers to attend practice daily, while also encouraging younger kids to stay active in other sports.

Where and when are the swimming meets?

MAC hosts several meets throughout the year at the Kino and Skyline Aquatic facilities, and our qualifying travel teams compete in western regional and national meets.

When can we join MAC?

You can join MAC at any time of the year. USA Swimming operates year-round with a 25-yard short course season (September – March) and a 50-meter long course season (April – August).

Do boys have to wear speedos?

If you are asking whether swimmers are required to wear a brief style suit, the answer is no. However, if you are referring to the brand itself, yes, Speedo is the official sponsor of MAC suits and swimming gear.

What is the cost, and how does MAC provide value?

How does MAC support swimmers with different development timelines, or if my child doesn't progress as quickly as others?
